Accepted Payment Options
Credit & Debit Cards
We accept all major card providers through our encrypted payment gateway:
- Visa – Our most popular payment method among international customers
- MasterCard – Accepted for all orders, including premium collections
- JCB – Specifically accommodated for our Japanese clientele
All card transactions are processed in GBP (£) with dynamic currency conversion available for international customers.
PayPal
For customers who prefer an extra layer of security:
- Direct account payments
- PayPal Credit options
- Instant payment confirmation
Particularly recommended for first-time buyers exploring our Alstroemeria or Aconitum selections.
Horticulturalist’s Note:
We process payments as carefully as we package our plants – your financial data receives the same protection as our delicate root systems during shipping. Our system never stores your full payment details, just as we wouldn’t expose our Alcea to harsh conditions.
Transaction Security
Our payment infrastructure features:
- 256-bit SSL encryption (the horticultural equivalent of a greenhouse for your data)
- PCI-DSS compliance
- Real-time fraud monitoring
Currency & Billing
All transactions are processed in British Pounds Sterling (£). International customers will see their bank’s exchange rate applied. For orders over £50, remember you’ll qualify for our free EMS shipping – particularly valuable when ordering multiple Amsonia or Allium varieties.
Order Processing Timeline
Like our perennials that need time to establish, payment processing follows natural rhythms:
- Authorization: Immediate (like watering new plants)
- Clearing: 1-3 business days (comparable to plant acclimatization)
- Refunds: Processed within 5-7 days (about as fast as our Alchemilla spreads)
For any payment inquiries, our horticultural team doubles as customer service specialists at [email protected]. We’re as responsive to financial questions as our Alcea are to summer rains.
Please note: We currently cannot accept UnionPay, AliPay, or cryptocurrency payments due to international horticultural export regulations.
