Crocosmia ‘Severn Sunrise’

‘Severn Sunrise’ has stunning orange flowers which fade to a salmon pink during the summer. The narrow sword-shaped foliage sends out upright stems which bear the blooms of this clump-forming perennial.

Often used in gravel gardens, this Montbretia can grow in any soil providing it is moisture-retentive but not waterlogged – ensure you pick a sunny spot when planting. Crocosmia can be divided during early spring once the first of the new growth appears.
