This rather special form of Cow Parsley produces masses of delicate white flowers in umbels held up on striking purple-black branched stems with deeply cut filigree leaves.

It adds lightness and grace to a naturalistic planting scheme and looks wonderful drifting through a meadow or wildlife garden.  It can self seed around, but unwanted seedlings can be easily removed.   Good and tough, it thrives in sun or part shade, in any soil.
